Simon Ghattas D.M.D.
Dr. Simon Ghattas is a native of South Florida and grew up in Lake Worth. He attended Florida Atlantic University’s Honors Program where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2004. Dr. Ghattas received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He then completed an Endodontic Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2010. As a fellow, Dr. Ghattas treated medically compromised patients at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. Dr. Ghattas completed his specialty training in Endodontics and Masters in Dental Science (M.S.) in 2012 from the University of Detroit Mercy under the guidance of Dr. Michael Hoen and was presented The Philip W. Cohen Memorial Scholarship Award, awarded to the graduate endodontic resident who most demonstrates dedication to endodontics and commitment to professional excellence. He is licensed to practice endodontics in both the state of Michigan and Florida. He currently maintains membership in the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Florida Association of Endodontists, Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Endodontists, and ABE College of Diplomates. He is currently the Vice President of the Florida Association of Endodontists and Executive Board Member of the Central Palm Beach County Dental Association. He has presented several table clinics and oral presentations at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting and is adjunct faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy and the Medical University of South Carolina where he lectures to the endodontic residents. Dr. Ghattas has been published in dental journals and has multiple scientific publications and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Ghattas and his wife Dr. Maureen Ghattas enjoy spending time with their daughter Samantha and traveling.
