A specialist in the field of periodontics and dental implants, Dr. Gutierrez's areas of interest and treatment within his specialty include cosmetic periodontics, bone and tissue regeneration and grafting. Dr. Gutierrez, along with his partners at the Florida Institute for Periodontics and Dental Implants, is proud to be a part of the first and only practice in North America offering image-guided implantology - A CAT scan based, computer assisted, surgical navigation system that provides the surgeon the capability of safely placing implants in the most ideal and precise locations with an extremely high level of accuracy.

In addition, treating you comfortably and safely is one of our primary objectives. We understand that many patients are apprehensive regarding dental procedures and offer oral and intravenous (IV) sedation to diminish or eliminate sensation, discomfort and anxiety. The properly applied combination of these techniques permit patients to comfortably relax, while receiving periodontal and implant therapy in our state-of-the-art facility. Every effort is taken to assure that our patients remain comfortable, calm, informed and well monitored.

Locations

The Florida Institute for Periodontics and Dental Implants currently operates from 3 Florida offices. Boca Raton and West Palm Beach are open full-time and Wellington is a satellite location from West Palm Beach. Dr. Gutierrez is proud to service the Central Palm Beach County communities through the West Palm Beach and Wellington offices.

Our West Palm Beach office was originally opened in 1961. The office, relocated to Flagler Drive along the lake and beautifully renovated in 1999, offers periodontal and dental implant services from our periodontists. We have a support team of 14 including clinical dental hygienists, personal treatment directors, surgical assistants and administrative professionals. We are in the process of building a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility on Flagler Drive, due to open its doors Spring/Summer 2004.

Our Wellington office has provided convenient access to patients in the Western Palm Beach County communities since 1995. In September 2003, our office relocated to a brand new facility at the beautiful Mizner Place office complex located on South Shore Boulevard. All services available at our main offices, including dental implants, cosmetic periodontal procedures, bone regeneration, and periodontal cleanings, are available to our patients in the Wellington location.
